Jordan 13 shoes was released in 1997/1998. On December 30th Jordan broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's NBA record, by scoring in double-digits for the 788th consecutive game. He also led the Bulls to their sixth NBA Championship title. Nike jordan 13 was inspired by "Nisshoki", (the Japanese flag) and a 19th century womans' dress boot. Initial public perception was a disappointment. However, featuring gold-plated steel lace loops, embossed lizard skin pattern and zoom air, this model set a new direction in style and technology in jordan shoes design.
